IT System and Application Administrator / System Administrator

As an IT System and Application Administrator (m/f/d), you ensure that our IT systems function reliably and support our employees optimally in their daily work. You take responsibility for the maintenance of our systems and applications, find solutions for technical challenges, and actively contribute to the further development of our IT landscape. - Technical and functional support and continuous development of our company-wide ERP system proALPHA - Support and further development of other central enterprise applications and their interfaces - Analysis, evaluation and implementation of technical requirements in close cooperation with specialist departments - Consulting for specialist departments on IT and ERP issues as well as digitalization and optimization of business processes - Planning, coordination and implementation of ERP and IT projects and cooperation with external service providers and software partners - Planning and execution of system, function and integration tests and support for updates, releases, migrations and go-lives - Analysis and resolution of complex faults within second-level support and sustainable documentation of solution paths - Administration, support and further development of the company-wide IT infrastructure with a focus on Microsoft-based server and client systems - Participation in the administration and further development of directory services, permissions, virtualization, network and other central IT systems - Ensuring stable, secure and efficient operation of the supported systems and applications - Creation and continuous maintenance of technical, system-related and process-related documentation - Preparation and conduct of user training and creation of suitable training and information materials - Participation in the implementation of requirements from the areas of data protection, information security and compliance

• Completed IT training (e.g. IT specialist for system integration, IT system electronics technician) or comparable qualification; alternatively a degree in computer science/business informatics or relevant professional experience - Several years of experience in IT system administration or application support - Experience with ERP systems, ideally proALPHA - Good understanding of business processes and ability to translate requirements into technical solutions - Good knowledge of Microsoft environments (Windows clients/servers, ideally Active Directory, group policies and Microsoft 365) - Knowledge of virtualization, networks, IT security and interfaces/integrations an advantage - Basic knowledge of SQL and databases desirable - Experience in implementing IT projects and working with external service providers - Analytical, solution-oriented and structured way of working with a high degree of personal responsibility and reliability - Strong service and communication orientation - Willingness to independently familiarize yourself with new technologies and applications - Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
