Purchasing Clerk

As a purchasing clerk, you support the procurement of our goods and materials, coordinate orders and ensure our purchasing processes run smoothly. Full-time, permanent position at HYDROTEC Technologies AG.

• Procurement of goods, raw materials and services on time, on budget and to quality standards
• Independently negotiating with suppliers and building and maintaining long-term supplier relationships
• Monitoring and managing orders, delivery dates and inventory
• Checking and verifying incoming invoices
• Independently handling and coordinating import processes
• Obtaining, comparing and negotiating freight quotes and checking freight and customs documents
• Recording, documenting and monitoring relevant data for CBAM reporting on imported goods
• Handling and coordinating complaints

• Completed commercial vocational training
• Professional experience in purchasing and procurement, ideally in a manufacturing company
• Strong negotiation skills and persuasive argumentation
• Routine use of MS Office, ideally experience with Pro ALPHA
• Good written and spoken English for communication and correspondence with international suppliers and business partners.
• Experience in import handling and good knowledge of relevant customs and import regulations
• Independent and structured way of working
• High communication and social skills, plus a reliable, friendly and confident manner
