About this Apprenticeship
IP Customs Solutions GmbH is a customs agency for import, export and transit business. It is looking for customs declarants or customs clerks to handle customs clearance in customs IT systems and communicate with customers and authorities.
What You'll Learn
- Efficient and error-free customs clearance in advanced customs IT systems
- Thorough checking and management of order data and proactively obtaining missing information
- Careful classification of goods using the customs tariff
- Active and professional communication with customers, customs offices and authorities
- Supporting and improving commercial processes
Requirements
- Practical experience in customs processing, preferably in export/transit (AES, NCTS, BHT, preferences, etc.)
- Confident use of the customs tariff (TARIC, EZT) and deep knowledge of different goods
- Excellent IT skills and a strongly process-oriented way of working
- High commitment and precision, especially when handling customer data
- Outstanding customer focus and problem-solving skills
- Commercial training, ideally in logistics or foreign trade
- Very good written and spoken German and strong English
