Customs Declarant / Customs Administrator specializing in export and transit clearance

IP Customs Solutions is looking for customs administrators for export and transit clearance in Ratzeburg / Hamburg. This part-time role involves 10 to 20 hours per week, spread across Monday to Friday. Working times are agreed within the hours of 07:00 to 17:00.

• Efficient, error-free customs clearance using advanced customs IT systems.
• Thorough checking and management of order data and proactive collection of missing information.
• Careful classification of goods using customs tariffs.
• Active, professional communication with clients, customs offices and various authorities.
• Helping support and improve commercial processes.
• You support our operations by preparing export and NCTS customs declarations for our customers. The applicable customs procedures are AES-Export, NCTS-OUT, change of temporary storage operator, CARNET TIR, ZAPP, HDS and BHT, along with preparing proof of preferential origin.

• Predictable availability during both early and later working hours is required
• Practical experience in customs clearance, preferably in exports or transit (AES, NCTS, BHT, preferential trade arrangements, etc.)
• Confident use of customs tariffs (TARIC, EZT) and detailed knowledge of different goods.
• Excellent computer skills and a strongly process-oriented approach to work.
• Strong commitment and accuracy, particularly when handling sensitive customer data.
• Excellent customer focus and problem-solving skills.
• Completed commercial vocational training, ideally in logistics or foreign trade.
• Very good spoken and written German and strong English skills.
