About this Apprenticeship
IP Customs Solutions GmbH is a customs agency for import, export and transit business. It is looking for a customs declarant or customs clerk for operational customs processing.
What You'll Learn
- Operational customs clearance (in the customs IT system ATLAS)
- Checking order data for completeness and plausibility and obtaining missing information where necessary
- Data maintenance and checking
- Classifying goods using the customs tariff
- Correspondence with customers, customs offices and authorities
- Support for commercial processes
Requirements
- Practical experience in customs processing
- Confident use of the customs tariff (TARIC, EZT) and in-depth knowledge of different goods.
- Commercial training, ideally in logistics or foreign trade.
- Good IT skills and a strongly process-oriented way of working.
- Commitment and precision, especially when handling customer data sensitively.
- Excellent customer focus and problem-solving skills.
- Very good German skills in speaking and writing as well as strong English skills.
