Semiconductor Manufacturing Operator

Jenoptik is looking for a semiconductor manufacturing operator in Berlin. The work includes making semiconductor components in a cleanroom, operating and monitoring production equipment, and carrying out inspections and documentation. The position belongs to the Strategic Business Unit Biophotonics.

• Produce semiconductor components in small and large series in the cleanroom
• Set up, operate and monitor semi-automatic and fully automatic production equipment
• Independently fix process and equipment faults in the backend and support maintenance
• Carry out and evaluate in-process tests and final inspections
• Test new and optimized process flows in close coordination with the technology team
• Document work processes precisely and comply with occupational safety and environmental regulations

• Completed training as a microtechnologist, mechatronics technician, electronics technician for devices and systems, physics lab technician or chemistry lab technician, or a comparable technical qualification
• Several years of professional experience, e.g. as a microtechnologist, semiconductor manufacturing operator, process operator in the semiconductor field or semiconductor technician
• Pronounced fine motor skills, and an analytical, systematic and solution-oriented approach to troubleshooting
• High reliability and quality awareness with strong communication skills
• Willingness to work under cleanroom conditions and in a rotating 3-shift system from Monday to Friday
• German language skills at native level
