About this Apprenticeship
In Kaufland's Abitur programme you earn three IHK qualifications and take on leadership responsibility. For the first 1.5 years you train as a retail clerk, followed by 1.5 years of further training to become a Handelsfachwirt (Bachelor Professional of Trade and Commerce), plus the trainer qualification.
What You'll Learn
- You are responsible for goods processes from ordering to sales and for the customers' shopping experience.
- You take responsibility for a goods department, staff scheduling and inventory.
- You help analyse business figures, such as your store's revenue.
Requirements
- You already have your Abitur or Fachhochschulreife, or are about to complete it.
- You want to learn more about ordering, selling our goods and our range of products.
- You like approaching people and can inspire them with your strong communication skills.
- You are highly motivated, reliable and can work flexibly around store opening hours.
What Kaufland Dienstleistung GmbH & Co. KG offers
- At least €1,350 gross per month in the first half year, at least €1,500 gross per month from month 7 to 18, and above-scale pay from month 19, plus holiday and Christmas bonuses and 6 weeks of vacation per year
- 3 qualifications in 3 years, and Kaufland also covers accommodation and meals during school phases at an external top training centre
- After passing the final exam you have very good chances of being taken on, directly as head of your own goods department if you perform well, plus a bonus for passing well
- With your trainer at your side and thorough exam preparation, you become ready for the future in both practice and theory
- Events and competitions, e.g. fitfortrade, and a wide range of discounts from fitness and leisure activities to the Deutschland-Ticket
- All details on pay, holiday and Christmas bonuses refer to the applicable collective agreement.
