Experienced Credit and Payment Management Specialist

Manage your own portfolio of international export and project financing in credit and payment management, and help improve IT applications and processes.

• Handle a large share of ongoing loan administration for your own portfolio of international export and project financing, acting in different roles such as agent, sole lender and syndicate member. The variety and complexity of transactions increase gradually, allowing you to keep learning.
• Record complete financing structures in IT systems, including new agreements and amendments, and post transactions in subsidiary ledgers.
• Manage loan disbursements and contractual payments, including interest, principal and fees, onward transfers and related statements, and set interest terms on time. Monitor payment problems and take appropriate action.
• Support colleagues with quality checks, approvals and new loan structures.
• Advise clients, banks and internal departments as a key contact for credit and payment management questions.
• Contribute to projects and special assignments to improve IT applications, processes, written policies and collaboration.

• A degree in a business subject or vocational training in banking, combined with several years of relevant professional experience.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of processes, tasks and their connections throughout the lending process, particularly loan administration.
• Practical experience in international lending is a strong advantage, particularly with contract structures for corporate, project and export financing. Very good German and English language skills are required.
• Familiarity with IT systems used for day-to-day loan processing; experience in different project roles would also be welcome.
• A structured approach, an ability to think beyond your immediate tasks, enjoyment of teamwork and working across departments, a service mindset, and precision with numbers, processes and systems, even under pressure.
