HR Specialist - International Payroll

Handle payroll for employees on international assignments. The role includes tax and social insurance matters, business travel compliance and working while abroad.

• Handle payroll administration for employees on international assignments and ensure accurate, timely processing.
• Help assess pay matters and process payroll cases in line with tax law, social insurance law and international agreements.
• Prepare certificates and reports and help clarify payroll matters.
• Handle business travel compliance and working while abroad, including applications to remain covered by German social insurance.
• Maintain quality through regular checks of your own work and ensure consistent interpretations of relevant questions.

• Completed commercial vocational training and several years of payroll experience (5–10 years) at a bank or financial company.
• Extensive knowledge of payroll tax and social insurance law, with previous experience processing payroll for international employee assignments.
• Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel, and good knowledge of SAP in a banking environment.
• Strong advisory and communication skills to resolve payroll questions confidently and with a focus on service, including contact with authorities.
• An accurate, reliable approach to work, teamwork skills and a strong focus on service.
