In-house Counsel Corporate & Banking Supervisory Law (fixed-term for 1.5 years)

Legal advice for KfW IPEX-Bank in corporate and banking supervisory law. The position is fixed-term for 1.5 years.

• Legal advice for KfW IPEX-Bank using expertise in corporate and banking supervisory law, including demanding special topics
• Legal contact person for management and business divisions including representative offices; legal support for foreign locations and steering of the lawyers involved there
• Legal expertise on contracts between KfW IPEX-Bank and KfW, negotiating changes and managing SLA relationships with KfW's legal department
• Supporting the preparation of committee documents from a legal perspective
• Close cooperation with internal and external interfaces and developing practical solutions

• Completed law studies with the state law exam (Staatsexamen) and above-average results
• Ideally practical legal experience in a bank or relevant professional experience in a law firm
• Very good knowledge of corporate law and banking supervisory law; knowledge of international financing is a plus
• Very good English skills, strong communication skills and willingness to get up to speed quickly and thoroughly in new subject areas
• Proactive, service-oriented approach, enjoyment of teamwork and of developing workable practical solutions to demanding legal questions
