Industrial Mechanic

Richter System GmbH & Co. KG, part of the Knauf Group, is looking for an industrial mechanic (m/f/d) for its Griesheim site. Tasks include maintenance, repair and installation of production equipment, and operating conventional lathes, milling and grinding machines.

• Safely carrying out all typical tasks as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), including maintenance, repair and installation of production equipment and operating resources
• Independently operating and working on conventional lathes, milling and grinding machines
• Setting up, commissioning and function testing our production equipment, and quickly finding and fixing causes of faults
• Responsibility for material planning and for making and repairing spare parts
• Willingness to work in a two-shift model and occasional on-call duty, always following all safety rules

• Completed training as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d) or similar training in the metal sector with relevant work experience
• Solid knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics and confident use of modern communication and control tools
• Very good German skills, spoken and written; English skills are an advantage
• Independent and structured work, combined with high reliability and a sense of responsibility
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to find and implement solutions together
