Process Engineer Post Press

Koenig & Bauer Sheetfed AG & Co. KG at its Radebeul site is looking for a Process Engineer Post Press for its service organisation department. Koenig & Bauer is the oldest printing press manufacturer in the world.

• Commissioning & acceptance: You are responsible for worldwide commissioning of Post Press systems (flatbed die cutters, folding carton gluers). This includes contractual machine acceptances, performance tests and assessing the technical condition of machines.
• Customer support & training: You run training and application consulting for customer staff and coordinate work sequences on site with other trades.
• Error analysis & optimisation: You carry out complex fault and root cause analysis, determine repair scope, implement corrective measures and optimise systems by adapting own and third-party interfaces.
• Project work & documentation: Together with specialist departments you analyse technical problems, run customer-related trials, perform calculations and ensure complete documentation (reports, protocols, technical documents).
• Sales support: You support sales by accompanying demonstrations and product presentations in the customer centre or at the customer's site.

• Successfully completed engineering degree in printing and media technology, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification (e.g. as a technician in process engineering or a comparable technical field).
• Sound professional experience in print finishing (Post Press), ideally with knowledge of processes such as die cutting, embossing, creasing or folding.
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and a high level of technical system understanding.
• Independent, structured and reliable way of working, team spirit.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in German and English.
• Confident use of existing IT systems (e.g. Google Workspace) and willingness to learn new IT systems.
• Willingness to travel globally to support our customers on site.
