Mechatronics Technician / Technician Prototype Construction

You work confidently with design drawings, circuit diagrams, and pneumatic plans and interpret them reliably. The independent construction of test rigs according to mechanical design specifications is part of your daily work – including adjustments, optimizations, and test supervision. In addition, you are heavily involved in the assembly, commissioning, and coordination of tasks in the field of new machine and module development. You perform mechanical and electromechanical assembly and wiring tasks and contribute to commissioning. You document test results, anomalies, and deviations and coordinate them with the relevant specialist departments. You actively participate in the further development and optimization of test processes and contribute your experience. You also support the analysis of fault cases and the continuous improvement of machines in the field. In your role as workshop lead, you are responsible for the organization and coordination of the development and test area.

You have completed training as a mechatronics technician, or optionally hold a technician or master craftsman certificate or a comparable qualification. Ideally, you have good knowledge of CAD systems to reliably assess models and drawings. Initial professional experience in electrical engineering is an advantage. You already have experience in special machinery construction, particularly in electromechanical assembly and commissioning. You possess strong manual dexterity and work precisely with tools, measuring instruments, and mechanical assemblies. You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, even with technically complex or unexpected tasks. You view technical problems as a challenge and enjoy developing new approaches to improve test setups or processes. Confident interaction with customers and very good English skills complete your profile. Occasional business travel.
