Technical product designers specializing in machine and plant design design and construct components, assemblies, or complete systems according to customer requirements. In cooperation with the development department, they create detailed models on CAD systems, e.g., for the modernization of machine tools. They observe the relevant standards and apply production-ready dimensioning. They take electrical components into account, select suitable standard parts and materials that meet the requirements. They implement change proposals, e.g., from error and test reports, in a constructive manner. They ensure that developments can be implemented economically. In addition, they create assembly plans and parts lists for production. They maintain product documentation, manage different development versions, and secure data.
