IT Infrastructure & Modern Workplace Expert

KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA is looking for a full-time, permanent IT Infrastructure & Modern Workplace expert at its headquarters in Einbeck, starting 01.06.2027. You actively help shape the development of the global IT infrastructure.

• You ensure stable, secure and future-oriented operation of our IT infrastructure and advise departments and management on technology questions.
• With Microsoft Intune, you are responsible for mobile device management and support device, platform and technology migrations.
• Together with the team, you develop our Microsoft 365 and collaboration landscape and design modern communication solutions around Microsoft Teams, Teams Rooms and video conferencing systems.
• In identity & access management, you help develop Active Directory, Entra ID and company-wide architecture and security standards.
• You design modern virtual workplace solutions based on Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop and provide virtual workplaces and business-critical applications.
• You also support the development of hybrid infrastructure, cloud, compute and storage platforms and assess new technologies for benefit, stability and cost-effectiveness.
• Managing external service providers is part of your responsibility, as is ensuring high service quality.
• You support national and international IT projects from concept and business case creation to the introduction of new infrastructure and application platforms.
• You also support tenders, provider selection and contract processes for IT, infrastructure and cloud services.

• Successfully completed degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in IT infrastructure and sound knowledge of modern on-premises and cloud technologies
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 services
• Knowledge of modern workplace, virtual workplace and cloud infrastructure as well as relevant IT security standards and best practices
• Experience implementing IT projects and technical transformation initiatives
• Very good German and English skills
• Analytical and strategic thinking and a structured, solution-oriented way of working
• High initiative and sense of responsibility
• Strong communication and consulting skills and confident manner with different stakeholders
• Strong networking and relationship management skills
