Administrative Services Specialist

Three-year apprenticeship at the Göttingen Police Directorate in the state administration specialization, combining practical and theoretical training. The program covers personnel, budgeting, law, central services and the administration of Lower Saxony.

Handling tasks in personnel, budgeting, law and central services. Applying legal regulations and using electronic communication tools. Theoretical training in public-sector business administration, administrative law, public finance and personnel management.

Intermediate secondary school certificate or equivalent qualification, with at least satisfactory grades in German and mathematics and an overall average of 3.0 or better. Good work and social conduct, strong spoken and written communication, interest in administrative and legal matters, teamwork, willingness to learn and communication skills.

Varied theoretical and practical training. Permanent employment is planned after successful completion. Training pay follows the TVA-L BBiG collective agreement. Benefits include flexible working models, individual support, health management and 30 days of annual leave.
