Export Finance Specialist

Within LBBW's Global Trade & Payments division, you manage export financing backed by export credit agencies after contracts are signed. You coordinate parties in Germany and abroad and improve processes for existing financing arrangements.

• Manage and document export financing backed by export credit agencies after contracts are signed and financing is ready for disbursement, monitoring conditions, deadlines and disbursement requirements
• Coordinate with relevant parties on waivers and contract amendments and ensure careful processing within deadlines
• Act as the main contact for international export credit agencies on existing financing and coordinate customer enquiries with sales, risk management, central support departments and overseas representative offices
• Assess compliance matters in ongoing business, particularly ESG requirements, sanctions, reputational risks and regulatory requirements, and involve the responsible teams
• Improve standards, templates and workflows and contribute ideas to projects across departments, including the use of digital solutions

• A completed degree in Economics, Business or Law, or a comparable qualification
• Experience in lending, such as loan documentation, disbursement or loan condition management, or export finance. Knowledge of financing backed by export credit agencies is welcome; willingness and ability to learn its specific features are also essential
• Enjoyment of developing existing work processes and implementing practical improvements
• Strong awareness of compliance and risk requirements in frontline business operations, particularly ESG, sanctions, reputational risks and regulatory requirements
• A structured, careful and solution focused approach with strong initiative
• A confident manner and strong communication skills in German and English
• Teamwork skills and enjoyment of international collaboration across departments
