Case Worker - Guardianship Authority

Guardianship court assistance: Support of guardianship courts through fact-finding and social reports including home visits, as well as presentation and referral Conducting legal guardianships Tasks in the environment of guardianships including recruitment of legal guardians, counseling in conflict situations, mediation of services, support with placement measures Counseling on powers of attorney and guardianship directives as well as certification Network work for the implementation of the Guardianship Organization Act Possible individual focuses such as: Complaint management, deprivation of liberty measures, coaching of professional guardians Case management within the framework of "extended support" §8 BtOG and as a model location in Baden-Württemberg according to §11(3)(4) BtOG

• Support the guardianship courts through fact-finding and social reports including home visits as well as presentation and referral
• Conduct legal guardianships
• Handle tasks in the environment of guardianships: recruitment of legal guardians, counseling in conflict situations, mediation of services, support with placement measures
• Counsel on powers of attorney and guardianship directives as well as certification
• Conduct network work for the implementation of the Guardianship Organization Act
• Set individual focuses such as complaint management, deprivation of liberty measures, coaching of professional guardians
• Conduct case management within the framework of "extended support" §8 BtOG and as a model location in Baden-Württemberg according to §11(3)(4) BtOG

• Successfully completed university degree in Social Work or Social Pedagogy, Diploma in Public Administration or Bachelor of Arts Public Management (f/m/d), Bachelor of Laws (f/m/d) or a comparable qualification
• Legal knowledge: Civil Code, Guardianship Organization Act, Judicial Officer Act, Code of Civil Procedure, Administrative Court Act, Act on Proceedings in Family Matters and Social Security Codes
• Social competencies, negotiation skills, high assertiveness and persuasiveness
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good communication skills in dealing with people with mental illness, people with disabilities and people with dementia
• Several years of professional experience is desirable
• Class B driver's license and willingness to use private car for official duties
• Good current PC skills and ability to work digitally
• Independence, flexibility, teamwork, organizational skills and resilience
