Agricultural Technical (Senior) Teacher and Advisor

Preparation and delivery of practical vocational instruction at the agricultural technical school in the field of home economics and supplementary programs, as well as taking on school organizational tasks such as supervising specialized rooms. Development, preparation and independent conduct of practical workshops and school class events in the teaching kitchen. Planning and implementation of exhibitions and events (e.g. late harvest market). Promotion and networking of direct marketing including support of the direct marketer brochure "Taste the District". Information and advisory services for agricultural businesses in the areas of income alternatives, diversification and direct marketing. Coordination, preparation and execution of events within the scope of job-related adult education. Participation in public relations within the area of responsibility (e.g. creation of flyers). Support with administrative tasks in the business unit (e.g. activities in the office of the Nutrition Center Middle Neckar). Responding to consumer inquiries. Supervision of auxiliary and freelance staff including trainees and interns. Participation in working groups.

Successfully completed advanced training as a Home Economics Business Manager (m/f/d) or Master of Home Economics (m/f/d) with instructor aptitude and subsequent preparatory service as an (agricultural) technical (senior) teacher and advisor (m/f/d). Teamwork skills, confident demeanor, reliability and enjoyment of working with people and teaching. Resilience, methodological competence, negotiation skills, strategic thinking and decision-making ability. Initiative and organizational skills. Very good German language skills in word and writing as well as good IT skills (MS Office) and interest in technical support for online events. Willingness to work evenings or weekends for relevant Nutrition Center events and to work overtime, which is compensated within the flexible working time arrangement. A valid class B driver's license.

Subject to meeting personal requirements, a part-time position (50% permanent, 25% fixed-term until 30.04.2030, 20% fixed-term until 31.12.2026 with prospect of extension until 31.12.2027) in pay group 10 TVöD (€4,124.53 - €5,753.35 - all amounts are monthly gross values for full-time employment).
