Dual Study Program in Administrative Informatics

You ensure that digital processes work, data is secure and modern technologies support the work of administration and citizen services. A dual study program for everyone who wants to shape digitalization – with meaning, practical relevance and a secure perspective in the public sector. The dual study program in administrative informatics lasts 3.5 years (7 semesters) and combines practical phases in the district administration of the Osnabrück district with study phases at the Hanover University of Applied Sciences.

Maintain and further develop IT applications and specialized procedures in the administration; participate in the digitalization of administrative processes; test, adapt and document software solutions; collaborate with colleagues from IT, specialist departments and external service providers; learn and practically implement topics such as data protection, IT security and e-government; fundamentals of computer science and administrative science; IT management, databases and software development; network technology, IT security and law; digitalization in the public sector.

You have the general higher education entrance qualification, the university of applied sciences entrance qualification or an equivalent recognized qualification at the start of your studies.; You have completed an administrative internship of at least 4 weeks by the start of your studies. You can also do this directly beforehand at the Osnabrück district.; You are interested in IT, digital processes and public tasks.; You work analytically, carefully and solution-oriented.; You like to communicate in a team and take responsibility.; You want to use technology to help make administration citizen-oriented and future-proof.

Study and earn money: You receive a stipend of 900 euros gross per month during the theoretical study phases and during the mandatory internships.
