• Chemical laboratory technicians at LANXESS create a world of their own: Under ideal laboratory conditions, they separate chemical mixtures, independently carry out physical examinations and check the quality of results. Measurement tasks are part of daily routine: They operate scales of varying sensitivity and work with both simple mechanical devices and complex technical apparatus.
• Planning and carrying out chemical test procedures
• Examining chemical substances with modern analytical equipment
• Distilling, filtering or sieving to separate chemical substance mixtures
• Setting up, modifying and dismantling chemical apparatus
• Producing organic and inorganic preparations
• Recording and evaluating test results
• Complying with safety and environmental regulations in German and English
