Wine Buyer

Operational purchasing of food at Lidl's headquarters in Neckarsulm. Together with the team you turn product ideas into reality, follow food trends, maintain the range and supplier relationships, and conduct negotiations.

• Responsibility for the wine range of selected origins and quality levels, from the first idea and concept to the finished product on the shelf in our stores
• Conducting negotiations and annual talks with international suppliers
• Strategic range development and optimization by taking part in tastings
• Trend scouting to identify new product innovations and make the Lidl range future-proof
• Ensuring the supply chain by pooling information from supply chain management, quality assurance, marketing, CSR, etc.

• Several years of experience conducting negotiations in purchasing or sales, ideally in the food industry and/or the wine product group
• Negotiation skills combined with strong rhetorical abilities
• A feel for market developments, customer requirements and trends
• Affinity for wine
• Fluent German and good English skills
• Willingness to be on site 4 to 5 days per week
