Fully Qualified Lawyer / Legal Counsel

The International Legal & Compliance department advises business units and management on legal questions of an international retail company and runs the compliance management system. Business law shapes business relationships and processes to be legally secure. Full-time.

• Independent advice to business units on legal questions, e.g. on the Lidl Plus app, international purchasing contracts or sports sponsorship
• Developing pragmatic solutions for the challenges of international business and ensuring a secure legal foundation for business relationships
• Drafting and negotiating contracts hand in hand with the business units
• Reviewing relevant legal changes and regularly updating and future-proofing processes and standards

• Successfully completed state examinations (grades at least "satisfactory")
• Relevant work experience in international contract and commercial law, preferably at a renowned commercial law firm or the legal department of an international company
• Ability to present complex legal matters simply, clearly and legally soundly
• Analytical skills, communication skills and teamwork
• Good English skills and experience abroad (professional or during studies) are an advantage
• Willingness to work mainly at our international headquarters in Neckarsulm
