What You'll Learn
- Analyse and optimise existing purchasing processes
- Support the introduction and use of AI tools in purchasing
- Automate recurring tasks, e.g. quote comparisons, supplier evaluations and data preparation
- Evaluate purchasing, supplier and order data using AI-supported applications
- Create dashboards, reports and key figures
- Help with digitalisation projects within the supply chain
- Support communication with suppliers and internal departments
- Research new technologies and AI applications for strategic and operational purchasing
- Document processes and create work instructions
Requirements
- Currently studying business administration, industrial engineering, business informatics, computer science or a comparable degree programme
- Interest in purchasing, supply chain management and modern AI technologies
- Confident use of Microsoft 365 (especially Excel, Teams and Power BI is an advantage)
- First experience with data analysis or AI tools (e.g. Copilot, Power BI, Python) is desirable
- Structured and independent way of working
- Very good German and good English skills
