Nursing Specialist - for the day-structuring facility in the LVR Association for LivingPlusLife in Tönisvorst

As a nursing specialist (m/f/d) at the LVR Association for LivingPlusLife, you take on a central role in accompanying and supporting people with disabilities. Your work is as demanding as it is enriching – you actively shape the daily lives of our clients and take responsibility.

• Varied tasks: You take on the support, promotion, and assumption of nursing tasks for adults with intellectual disabilities in the area of day-structuring offers. You support the development of our clients and work according to the person-centered care approach. No day is the same – experience an activity that challenges and inspires you.
• Responsibility and relationship: You accompany people long-term and build trusting relationships with a view to their life goals and development within the framework of help planning and social participation, also in a 1:1 setting based on individual agreements with clients of the day-structuring facility and supervised living arrangements, involving relatives, legal guardians, and service providers.

• State recognition as a curative education nurse, geriatric nurse, health and nurse, or nursing specialist (m/f/d)
• Possession of a valid class B driver's license
• Experience in working with people with disabilities, especially in a curative education context
• Enjoyment of working with people and shaping relationships
• Flexibility, creativity, sense of responsibility, and ability to work independently
• Experience in documenting support services
• Experience in social group work
• Knowledge in the areas of DOKI (dialogue-oriented crisis intervention), TEACCH, person-centered planning according to Marlies Pörtner
• Competence in developing and implementing programs in the day-structuring area
• Craft or artistic interest and ability to integrate these into pedagogical work
• Professional and personal development through targeted participation in further training is a matter of course for you
