Dual Part-Time Degree in Municipal Administration (Bachelor of Laws) 2027

As a junior professional in municipal administration, you help shape life for people in the Rhineland together with the LVR. The dual degree, in civil servant status revocable, combines five practical phases at the LVR with theory phases at the University for Police and Public Administration (HSPV NRW) in Cologne. You study General Administration with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree. After successful completion you are appointed Landesinspektor*in, and chances of being taken on are very good.

• You learn to make administrative decisions and monitor legal requirements
• In five practical phases you get to know areas such as personnel & organization, social services, youth or culture
• In the theory phases you gain knowledge of law, economics and social sciences

• A successfully completed Abitur or full Fachabitur by the start of studies
• At least a grade of satisfactory in German and mathematics
• German citizenship or that of an EU member state, the European Economic Area or Switzerland (per §7 Beamtenstatusgesetz)
• You will not yet have turned 38 at the start of studies (per §14 Landesbeamtengesetz NRW)
• You have good verbal and written expression.
• You find it easy to see connections and find good solutions through logical thinking.
• You enjoy working with others and value good teamwork.
