Educational Specialist as Night Watch for Social Participation - Integration Assistance - for the LVR-Verbund für WohnenPlusLeben in Zülpich

As an educational specialist at the LVR-Verbund für WohnenPlusLeben, you take on a central role in guiding and supporting people with disabilities. Part-time, permanent, pay grade S8b TVöD-SuE, start as soon as possible.

• Meaningful task: supporting adults with hearing impairments and cognitive and physical disabilities during the night.
• Responsibility and relationships: you support people long term, are available for relieving conversations and step in during crises with de-escalating action. You encourage people to keep to quiet hours and document the night's care in the Vivendi software. You also ensure a detailed handover to the day shift.
• Holistic work: bring your personality in through conversation and give the support needed, including, where necessary, basic and simple medical care and giving night and as-needed medication.
• Societal relevance: become part of an important social and political mission.

• State recognition as a social pedagogue, social worker, curative education nurse, special educator, rehabilitation educator or childcare educator (m/f/d).
• Willingness to learn and regularly use German Sign Language (DGS)
• You are willing to work permanently as a night watch.
• Ideally you already have experience supporting people with disabilities.
• You like working hand in hand in a multi-professional team.
• You enjoy working with people and actively building lasting relationships.
• You stand out through creativity, sense of responsibility, flexibility and an independent way of working in daily practice.
• You bring experience in documenting support services.
