Special Needs Educator as Night Watch for Social Participation - Integration Assistance

As a special needs educator at the LVR-Verbund für WohnenPlusLeben in Zülpich, you play a central role in supporting people with disabilities. Part-time, permanent. Because you will work with customers and colleagues with hearing impairments, willingness to learn and regularly use German Sign Language (DGS) is required; learning opportunities are provided.

• Meaningful task: Supporting adults with hearing impairments as well as cognitive and physical disabilities during the night.
• Responsibility and relationship: You accompany people long term, are available for relieving conversations and intervene in crises through de-escalating action. You motivate people to keep to night rest and document the night's care in the Vivendi software. You also ensure a detailed handover to the day shift.
• Holistic work: Support where necessary, including basic and simple medical care and giving night and as-needed medication.
• Social relevance: Being part of an important social and political mission.

• State recognition as a special needs educator (m/f/d)
• You are willing to work permanently as a night watch.
• Ideally, you already have experience supporting people with disabilities.

• You have experience documenting support services.
