Internship in AI & Machine Learning for Automotive Software Products

Six-month internship starting in February/March 2027 in Stuttgart, developing AI-based software products for automotive thermal management in an international, cross-disciplinary team.

• Help develop an AI-based software product for automotive thermal management, from data collection and preparation to modeling and validation
• Develop agent-based tools and workflows to support the team, for example for automated data analysis, feature engineering, model iteration or evaluation
• Work closely with an international, cross-disciplinary engineering and AI team to integrate the models and tools into prototypes or applications close to production

• Only internships that are not entirely voluntary can currently be offered
• Studying engineering, computer science, business informatics, AI, physics, mathematics or a comparable subject
• Very good knowledge of Python and relevant AI/ML libraries, such as NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Solid previous experience in machine learning or data science; ideally an interest in or initial experience with agentic AI approaches
• An analytical, independent and structured approach to work, with an interest in automotive and thermal management applications
• Good German and English skills
