Internship in Powertrain Cooling Development

Six-month internship at MAHLE in Stuttgart starting in April 2027. You will help develop model-based tolerance models for heat exchangers and support testing, laboratory measurements, simulations and prototype production.

• Help develop MAHLE's model-based tolerance management to build general, scalable tolerance models for critical product and process functions of heat exchangers
• Design and build measuring devices and support fixtures
• Carry out tests and analyse results
• Carry out laboratory measurements, including strength tests and metallography
• Run tolerance simulations
• Produce prototypes

• Purely voluntary internships cannot currently be offered
• Enrolled in a technical degree programme such as Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering or Process Engineering
• Knowledge of CAD, Minitab, Minitab Workspace and statistics is an advantage
• Very good spoken and written German and English
• Focus on results, ability to work independently, determination and good analytical skills
• Strong practical focus and a good understanding of complex manufacturing processes
