The Berlin Marriott Hotel offers you the perfect framework during your three-year dual study program to combine theory with practice and become an absolute host professional in hotel management. You will get to know all areas of a hotel both behind the scenes and directly with the guest to ensure that every stay becomes an unforgettable experience. • You study in routine practice and theory phases – each 3 months theory and 3 months practice. In both phases you receive full pay
• In the theory phases at the Berlin School of Economics and Law you learn all business fundamentals with additional hospitality and tourism focuses. For the business courses you receive 180 ECTS points plus an additional 30 ECTS for the tourism focuses. An internship for the Master is not required – after your dual Bachelor studies you can start the Master directly
• In the practice phases you will implement what you have learned theoretically in the hotel
• You are the first and last point of contact for the guest and ensure an excellent stay with your open and warm personality
• You act as a contact person for questions and wishes
• You enjoy your work and entertain our guests and serve food and drinks in our bar, the restaurant and the banquet area
• You prepare food and support the purchasing department in ordering goods
• You gain insights into the Sales & Marketing departments
• You support from event sales to planning, implementation and supervision of the event
• In accounting you check bookings and process invoices
• You learn the various activities in the early and late shifts of the respective departments
• You gain a comprehensive insight into the various departments and work actively to become an expert yourself. In the last semesters you can contribute your wishes: Please let us know which departments you absolutely want to get to know or in which you want to work longer

• You have a general university entrance qualification or technical college entrance qualification with a minimum grade average of 2.4
• You have fluent German and very good English skills
• You have analytical thinking skills and pronounced mathematical knowledge – at least 10 grade points
• Ideally you have already gained first experience in the hotel industry or gastronomy
• Your charming, authentic and warm appearance as well as your enthusiasm for the hotel industry round off your profile
• You have a well-groomed appearance and very good expression
• You are a team player and appreciate working in a team
• You bring enthusiasm for the hotel industry and have a clear motivation why you want to work in this industry
