The apprenticeship covers alternative drive systems, electric and hybrid drives, battery technologies, vehicle electrical systems, charging systems, assistance systems, autonomous driving and vehicle connectivity.

Diagnosing, maintaining and adjusting vehicles and mechatronic systems; working with connected systems, high-voltage systems, comfort and safety systems, and wireless signal transmission systems; inspecting vehicles in accordance with road traffic regulations.

Technical understanding and manual skills; good knowledge of mathematics and physics; interest in modern vehicle technologies; reliable color vision; sense of responsibility and careful, precise working style; at least a good lower secondary school certificate.

Attractive compensation from €1,321.15 in the first training year up to €1,500.68 in the final year, depending on location; excellent opportunities for permanent employment after successfully completing the apprenticeship.
