Tool Mechanic Apprenticeship

In this apprenticeship, you learn to manufacture and assemble various tools and technical systems for vehicle production.

Process materials manually and mechanically, including filing, sawing, drilling, turning, milling and forming; manufacture and assemble stamping and forming tools; create, test and optimize programs for numerically controlled machine tools; heat-treat tools and carry out hardness tests; learn the basics of additive manufacturing using 3D printing.

Technical understanding and manual ability; good knowledge of mathematics and physics; interest in modern manufacturing processes; good spatial awareness; a responsible, careful and precise approach to work; at least a good lower secondary school certificate.

Attractive pay of 1,242 euros in the first apprenticeship year rising to 1,586 euros in the final year, depending on the location; excellent chances of permanent employment after successfully completing the apprenticeship.
