The dual study program at Mercedes-Benz not only enables you to gain a sound academic education and practical experience, but also a significant corporate experience. Through the campus model, you experience the corporation up close! In joint training sessions and seminars, which take place predominantly in Stuttgart, you meet students from all plants. During your practical assignments in the second and third year of study, you start at your home plant Bremen.

• Computer scientists transfer processes of the real world to computer systems by converting the task into suitable models and then mapping them onto software systems. They ensure that in our networked, mobile world machines communicate and work even more efficiently with people or other machines.
• You spend the theoretical phases at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Stuttgart. Important subjects include Theoretical Computer Science, Programming, Software Engineering, Databases, Technical Computer Science and Mathematics. Added to these are key qualifications such as Business Administration, Project Management, English or Law.
• In the Artificial Intelligence specialization, the following subjects are also essential: Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Technologies, Machine Learning, Data Management, Software Architectures for Big Data.
• In the practical phases you gain experience in software development, measurement and testing technology, vehicle development, production monitoring and control or IT network operation, network administration and data security.
