Master Technician Technical Service Assembly

Mercedes-Benz Ludwigsfelde GmbH is seeking a Master Technician for Technical Service Assembly in Ludwigsfelde. The position includes ensuring production processes, employee leadership, monitoring occupational safety and technical regulations, quality analysis, process optimization, and project participation.

• Ensuring smooth, timely and economical production processes by providing all necessary equipment, facilities and media (conveyor technology, highly automated plant technology, handling technology, etc.)
• Control of employee deployment in area of responsibility and assumption of leadership responsibility while modeling responsible action
• Monitoring compliance with occupational safety, legal requirements and technical regulations for safe, compliant and certification-safe operation of equipment and facilities in area of responsibility
• Ensuring compliance with legal, collective bargaining and operational regulations
• Analysis of quality defects and causes of malfunctions and development of corrective measures
• Optimization of processes in area of responsibility
• Leadership and development of employees including employee appraisals
• Support of planning activities and participation in projects and working groups as well as coordination of external companies
• Adherence to annually agreed targets as well as program and efficiency requirements

• Completed training in industry/trade or technician training, ideally in electrical engineering/electronics/automation
• Completed master craftsman training or equivalent qualification with instructor aptitude certificate according to AEVO
• Several years of job-specific professional experience
• Knowledge in electrical engineering/electronics/automation technology
• Confident demeanor towards managers and employees

• High analytical competence and ability to think and act entrepreneurially
• Willingness to work shifts and on weekends and public holidays
• Already in an E5 function or high-potential candidate for level 5 with confirmed MEP, PV5 or P45
