Intern IT Outbound Logistics Finished Vehicles

We in the IT MBC (Mercedes-Benz Cars) Operations area are responsible for the IT system landscape used in both logistics and production of vehicles, engines and transmissions at Mercedes-Benz AG plants. Our IT4SC department examines global, intra-plant and cross-plant logistics processes and designs and operates the required IT landscape. For this exciting and challenging area we are looking for you as an Intern IT Outbound Logistics Finished Vehicles. You want to gain practical insights into the tasks of an IT Product Owner and help shape the development of innovative IT solutions in the international environment of an automotive manufacturer? • Participation in agile teams according to the SAFe framework and support of agile working methods in daily business
• Co-design of global outbound logistics processes in the automotive industry
• Support in the digitalization and further development of outbound logistics processes
• Focus on worldwide vehicle shipping within outbound logistics
• Analysis, documentation and optimization of end-to-end processes from vehicle dispatch to transport
• Independent assumption of tasks and sub-projects with growing responsibility
• Collaboration with international interfaces from logistics, IT and specialist departments

• Degree program in logistics, business administration, engineering, computer science or a comparable course of study
• Secure German and English skills in word and writing
• Interest in agile methods (e.g. SAFe, Scrum or Kanban) as well as digital processes
