Intern Supply Chain - Load Carrier Planning Axle Powertrain (Mandatory Internship)

In the area of Logistics Planning Engineering Powertrain Axles (MO/ELPT), we actively shape the supply chain of the powertrain plants and make an important contribution to electric mobility at Mercedes-Benz. Our tasks include the planning, development, and procurement of load carriers for the powertrain axle area as well as the design and optimization of intralogistics processes. We work closely with the areas of planning, quality, production, logistics, and purchasing to develop holistic and efficient load carrier and logistics concepts. For this exciting and future-oriented area of responsibility, we are looking for you for a mandatory internship.

• Participation in load carrier planning for new projects and series volumes including concept coordination and sample approvals
• Planning and optimization of intralogistics processes within the factory halls
• Organization and coordination of coordination meetings with suppliers as well as derivation and tracking of suitable measures
• Participation in cross-plant projects and standardization initiatives
• Development and further development of data models with Power BI using modern analysis and AI methods
• Creation of presentations and decision documents for management
• Support in the preparation and conduct of workshops
• Participation in the creation and further development of standards, specifications, and tracking lists in the powertrain environment

• Degree program in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, packaging technology, or a comparable technical or business administration degree
• Proficient German and English skills in both written and spoken form
• Proficient use of MS Office
