Working Student Technical Product Support & Validation Driver Assistance Systems and Telematics

We bring Mercedes-Benz Cars to the road – with enthusiasm and heart! In Global Customer Service and Parts (GCSP/TPC) we accompany the entire lifecycle of Mercedes-Benz and smart vehicles, from service-oriented product design through market launch to product support and validation. We support service organizations worldwide, if necessary on site. We work essentially with our partners from Global Customer Service and Parts, Development, Production, Purchasing, Legal and Quality. We create operating instructions, write diagnostic procedures and are the experts in parts technology as well as product evaluation and regulation. With your activity in our department Global Customer Service and Parts (GCSP/TPC) at the Böblingen site you gain a comprehensive insight into the Mercedes-Benz service world and the interplay of research, development and production. You can expect varied tasks in the networked topics of radar, camera, parking and other driver assistance, telematics and entertainment systems and much more. In our workshop with extensive vehicle fleet you gain insights into latest technologies and experience the fascination of Mercedes-Benz up close.

• Research of customer complaints and technical details for acute inquiries
• Participation in creation of management-appropriate reports on current customer-relevant focus topics
• Contribution to problem analysis and solution finding together with experts centrally and on vehicle, e.g. through test drives and diagnostic work
• Participation in development, implementation and proof of effectiveness of technical solutions in cooperation with development, production and our markets
• Support of the team in processing potential field actions

• Degree program in vehicle engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable course of study.
• Secure German and English skills in word and writing
• Secure handling of MS-Office

• Interest and experience in AI application desirable
