Customer Service Clerk Sea Freight / Coordinator Customer Service (m/f/d/o)

MSC Germany in Hamburg, part of the world's leading shipping line MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, is looking for a new team member in sea freight customer service.

• Complete customer support for all booking and shipping inquiries in daily business
• Proactive, service-oriented communication focused on quality, reliability and customer satisfaction
• Act as the interface between customers, internal teams, international agencies and external partners
• Ensure on-time transport handling
• Pragmatic and efficient support in claim management and clarifying operational issues
• Maintain and update customer, booking and shipping data in the systems
• Independently process booking changes

• Qualified shipping clerk, freight forwarding and logistics clerk, or other commercial training or degree, ideally with a logistics focus
• Ideally experience in sea freight or import/export
• Strong communication skills with internal and external contacts and a very good customer-oriented mindset
• Enjoy working in a team
• Independent, solution-oriented working style and organizational talent
• Very good German and good English, spoken and written
