Maintenance Caretaker

MÜNCHENSTIFT is hiring a maintenance caretaker for its Allach facility in Munich on a permanent, full-time contract with 39 hours per week. The maintenance team keeps technical operations running smoothly and promptly repairs damage in residents' living areas.

• Help residents move in or relocate, including clearing apartments
• Carry out various repairs
• Prepare for events and clear up afterwards, including arranging seating
• Dispose of rubbish and collect and dispose of recyclable materials
• Carry out winter maintenance and maintain outdoor areas

• Strong practical trade skills, ideally with vocational training in a trade
• Physical fitness for demanding work
• Flexibility and willingness to work varying shifts
• Good communication skills
• PC application skills
• Enjoyment of working with older people
• Interest in our care that respects diversity, particularly sexual, gender and migrant or post-migrant diversity, with awareness of gender and cultural differences
