Auditor / Revisor - Commercial Audit

In the Store Support Center we keep our colleagues in the stores free to focus on their work. In our internal audit at the Wermelskirchen or Cologne location, we support OBI as a reliable control and advisory unit. True to our guiding principle "critically examine, fairly assess, sustainably improve", we uncover optimization potential, strengthen internal control systems and jointly create value for the entire company.

• Independent execution of commercial audits and follow-ups in OBI central units domestically and abroad to assess control systems, propriety and efficiency
• Holistic examination of business processes, identification of weaknesses and development of implementation-oriented measures for risk minimization
• Precise preparation of clear and structured audit reports in both German and English
• Target-group-oriented presentation of audit results to management and support of solution-oriented technical discussions
• Continuous review and support in the implementation of agreed recommendations

• Successfully completed degree in economics, business law or a comparable qualification with solid practical experience
• Relevant practical experience in the areas of audit, external auditing, compliance or risk management
• Confident communication in German and English, both written and spoken, for our international working environment
• Logical-analytical thinking, quick grasp of complex issues and a solution-oriented view of processes
• Sensitivity in dialogue with colleagues at all levels and the ability to maintain a healthy balance between auditing and consulting
• High degree of integrity, objectivity as well as pronounced willingness to learn and joy in continuous improvement
