Apprenticeship - Retail Salesperson

Your three-year apprenticeship (shortenable with good performance!) is the perfect entry to dive deep into our assortment and lay the foundation for your career. Framework: You work five days a week in various shifts within opening hours (Monday to Saturday). Vocational school is attended in blocks or on fixed days to gain theoretical knowledge and prepare for exams.

Product knowledge - Learn our entire building and garden range and later specialise in your preferred area. Business processes - Besides products, learn all other areas like checkout, service centre and goods receipt to understand the business from the ground up. Customer advice - Advise customers in-store and find the right solution for every request. Merchandise management - Get familiar with ordering and optimal product presentation. Digital customer interaction - Answer customer enquiries via app, email or messenger and experience modern customer dialogue. Project participation - Implement varied projects with the team and gain valuable experience during the apprentice project week or in our two-week apprentice-run store.

School leaving certificate - You have a successful Hauptschulabschluss, Realschulabschluss or Abitur before the apprenticeship starts. Customer orientation - You enjoy dealing with people and have an open manner. Enthusiasm - You are motivated for varied tasks and a diverse daily routine. Communication skills - You can express yourself clearly and understandably both in person and digitally, and are willing to actively advise and sell.

Attractive pay - Tiered remuneration: €1,175 (1st year), €1,280 (2nd year), €1,425 (3rd year) plus pro-rated holiday and Christmas bonuses. Mobility bonus - Receive up to €30 net per month, scaled to your commute. Full bonus from six kilometres; shorter distances receive a pro-rated subsidy.
