Payroll Specialist

In the Payroll area at OBI's Store Support Center (SSC), you ensure punctual, precise and fully correct payroll for thousands of team members. You make HR processes more efficient, use modern HR tools and work as equals in an agile team.

• Payroll: Timely execution and assurance of wage and salary payroll including all special cases for a defined area of responsibility
• Advice: Contact person for employees and managers on social insurance, tax and labor law questions
• Quality assurance: Carrying out plausibility checks during monthly payroll and year-end closings
• Case assessment: Tax and social insurance assessment of payroll-relevant topics
• Authority communication: Handling certificates and reporting, and professional exchange with offices, social insurance providers and health insurers
• Data maintenance: Managing personnel files and maintaining master data in the Paisy payroll program
• Finance interface: Monitoring personnel costs, clearing transit accounts and handling personnel provisions

• Training: Successfully completed commercial vocational training or a comparable HR qualification
• Experience: Solid several years of practice in payroll and wage accounting
• Expertise: Solid knowledge of labor, tax and social insurance law
• System skills: Confident use of the Paisy payroll system and common MS Office applications
• Language skills: Fluent German (at least C1) and basic English (at least A2)
• Working style: Strong affinity for numbers, care and precision in all tasks
• Personality: You stand out through team spirit, service orientation and enjoyment of developing digital HR processes
