Working Student in Tax / Taxes

In the tax department, we handle all topics related to taxes, tax technology, and reporting. As a working student, you gain practical experience in this area, which is often a decisive advantage when job hunting after graduation. Those who have already dealt with tax issues and project work as a working student bring a wealth of knowledge for the future.

• Research on specific technical questions in national and international tax law and creation of concise short memos and overviews
• Creation and independent processing of tax residency certificates for German OBI group companies including administration with the tax office
• Monitoring and continuous tracking and classification of changing tax legislation
• Insights and valuable practical experience in exciting OBI group projects from a tax perspective

• Studies: Enrolled student of business administration, law, or a comparable degree program with a focus on tax law; vocational training in the tax field is an advantage
• Availability: Ideally for the next 12 to 18 months at 15–20 hours per week
• Interest: Enthusiasm for tax, accounting, and business law, ideally with initial practical experience through internships or vocational training in tax law or commercial field
• Technical know-how: Proficient use of MS Office / Google programs, optional initial knowledge of SAP and GTC (GlobalTaxCenter)
• Language skills: Good English skills written and spoken, excellent German skills (C2)
• Work style: Strong analytical skills combined with a structured, solution-oriented approach
