Global Supply Chain Transformation Project Manager, focused on procurement excellence

Project management role in PFISTERER's Global SCM Excellence team, at a technology company making connection systems for the energy sector. The role focuses on improving and digitising strategic purchasing processes and tools, and managing transformation projects across sites.

• Take responsibility for strategic purchasing tools and processes covering category management, contract management, purchasing control and performance management systems, purchasing risk management and governance structures, and digital workflows
• Select, implement and measure the success of these tools and processes using key performance indicators
• Introduce digital solutions and automation tools, such as SupplyOn and Tacto platforms
• Prepare feasibility studies and business cases, and develop strategic roadmaps for new solutions and technologies
• Design and carry out scope definition, configuration, testing, data migration and system changeover activities in transformation and digitalisation projects
• Manage integration, functional and user acceptance testing
• Design and build consistent data structures to support further AI work
• Monitor purchasing regulations
• Plan, coordinate and deliver global supply chain transformation projects across sites

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Business Information Systems or Industrial Engineering
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in strategic purchasing
• Good knowledge of SAP MM and relevant purchasing processes
• Experience working on transformation, change or digitalisation projects
• Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• German and English suitable for business negotiations
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Openness, flexibility, confidence, reliability and assertiveness
• Independent working style, strong initiative and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 20%
