BI Specialist

For the Group Controlling & BI department at the Winterbach site, PFISTERER is looking for a BI Specialist (f/m/d) as soon as possible. PFISTERER is one of the world's leading providers of connection and jointing technology in electrical power grids.

• Capturing, analyzing and structuring requirements from the business departments
• Developing, optimizing and maintaining ETL processes in Jedox
• Designing and building data models, dimensions and cubes
• Developing and further developing planning, forecasting and reporting solutions
• Using modern BI and AI functions for data-based decision support
• Creating and optimizing analyses, reports and dashboards in Jedox and, in future, Power BI
• Conducting training sessions and workshops for users and key users
• Identifying and implementing optimization potential in data quality and reporting

• Completed degree in business informatics, business administration, data science or comparable qualification; alternatively vocational training in the IT field with appropriate further education
• Experience in the BI or CPM field, ideally with Jedox or comparable solutions
• Knowledge of developing ETL processes and data models
• Good SQL skills and interest in modern data and analytics technologies
• First experience with Power BI and SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) is an advantage
• Understanding of business processes, especially in finance, sales and operations
• Analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of working and strong communication skills
• Very good German and English skills, written and spoken
