Process & Project Manager – Tool Design & Manufacturing Technology

For the Industrial Engineering area, PFISTERER is looking for a specialist in tool design and project management at the Winterbach site as soon as possible. PFISTERER is one of the world's leading technology companies for connection and jointing technology in the energy industry.

• Development and design of tools and equipment with a focus on silicone technology
• Creating and maintaining 3D CAD models and technical drawings (Autodesk Inventor)
• Further development of existing tool concepts and optimisation of tool solutions
• Support of product development and industrialisation projects regarding tool design and manufacturability
• Building and developing tool expertise as well as standardising methods and guidelines
• Evaluation of new tool technologies and support of acceptance tests, initial sampling and series start-ups
• Technical support of external toolmakers and management of tool projects regarding quality, costs and deadlines

• Completed degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering, plastics engineering or a comparable technical qualification; alternatively technical training with relevant further education
• Several years of professional experience in designing tools, equipment or special machines
• Experience in an industrial production environment and in managing technical projects
• Very good knowledge of 3D CAD design with Autodesk Inventor
• Sound knowledge of tool design and understanding of manufacturing and industrialisation processes
• Confident handling of technical drawings, specifications and design guidelines
• Good MS Office and English skills; knowledge of tool simulation is an advantage
• Analytical, structured and independent way of working, strong communication skills and willingness to travel regularly nationally and internationally
• Suitable for severely disabled people, in line with the stated task and requirement profile
