MarTech Architect - CDP & Marketing Automation

PwC is seeking a MarTech Architect to join its Consulting business as soon as possible. In the Customer Transformation team, you will advise companies on customer data platforms and marketing automation and support projects from design through implementation.

• Consulting: Help leading companies improve their business processes, organisation and IT platforms for data-driven marketing. As a MarTech architecture expert, develop tailored customer data platform and marketing automation solutions that meet each client's needs. Use your understanding of modern MarTech tools and scalable, integrated architectures to help clients reach their audiences through effective, personalised marketing.
• Project work: Support clients throughout transformation projects, from gathering requirements, choosing tools and defining architecture through implementation and activation, taking a leadership role depending on your experience. Work with your team on customer data platform implementation, marketing automation, activation across channels and customer experience to improve consumer experiences and make marketing organisations more efficient.
• Development: Work in a motivated team, take responsibility and support clients and colleagues while gaining exposure to different industries, developing topics independently and learning agile project methods.

• You have completed a degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Data Science, Marketing or a comparable field with above-average results and have gained initial professional experience or completed internships.
• You have professional experience designing and implementing MarTech architectures focused on customer data platforms, such as Salesforce Data 360, Zeotap and Segment, and/or marketing automation tools, particularly Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Experience with Braze, Adobe Campaign/AJO, Emarsys or Bloomreach Engagement is a plus. Technical integrations with established CRM systems, such as Salesforce or SAP CX, customer data platforms and data warehouses are routine projects for you.
• You have solid experience designing data models, identity resolution, segmentation rules, consent and preference management, and connecting channels such as email, WhatsApp, push notifications, SMS and web/apps through APIs and event streams.
• You know how to build effective customer journeys across channels and manage them using performance indicators. Knowledge of SQL, HTML and AMP-Script, an understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and GCP and GDPR-compliant data processing, and ideally some exposure to generative AI in marketing help you tailor automated processes and quickly understand technical requirements.
