Payroll Specialist SAP HCM / Payroll Germany

The eight-person payroll team in Hamburg is looking for an experienced payroll specialist as soon as possible. It is a newly created, permanent full-time position. Up to 50% of working time per quarter can be done remotely, the rest is worked in the Hamburg office.

• You carry out payroll carefully and on time according to the applicable procedures.
• You use SAP HCM for payroll-related tasks and support a reliable daily business flow.
• You check payroll-relevant information conscientiously and clarify discrepancies or missing details.
• You work closely with the payroll team, coordinate daily priorities and ensure continuity of processes.
• You contribute your practical experience and help preserve important knowledge in the team.
• You take part in a structured induction and are supported by your colleagues directly at your workplace.

• Practical experience in payroll, including independently running payroll runs.
• Sound knowledge of payroll, ideally gained through hands-on experience from the ground up.
• Experience with payroll in SAP HCM – this is mandatory for the position.
• Good written and spoken English as well as good listening and reading comprehension.
• A careful and reliable way of working and enjoyment of close collaboration with colleagues.
• Interest in developing further in a payroll team in the long term.
