About this Apprenticeship
Training programme for school leavers with university entrance qualifications to become retail managers at REWE Dortmund in Leichlingen. You will learn about sales, stock management and running a store.
What You'll Learn
- Advise customers and conduct sales conversations
- Identify stock needs and arrange orders
- Store and check goods
- Build and organise the product range
- Display goods and carry out sales promotions
- Learn how to manage employees
- Plan staffing and prepare sales statistics, performance checks and accounts to monitor and manage store performance
Requirements
- Good grades in the Abitur or Fachabitur school qualification
- Enthusiasm for food retail, ideally with some practical experience
- Interest in how businesses work
- A focus on customers and enjoyment of working with people
- A confident and assured manner
- Assertiveness, teamwork and organisational skills
- Strong commitment and the ability to stay on top of things in stressful situations
